Margaret Anderson Kelliher

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Margaret Anderson Kelliher is known for her passion and ability to bring people together for the betterment of the community. Transcending any job title she has held – it is a way of life of her. At TEDxHennepinAve Margaret shares how invitations have impacted her life, and invites the audience to engage locally – by not only accepting her invitation, but by extending some of their own.
Margaret Anderson Kelliher is a community catalyst. As the President and CEO of the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA), she connects leaders in the science and technology community not only to each other, but also to leaders in education and government. Prior to MHTA, Margaret served in the Minnesota Legislature, including two terms as the Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A life-long Minnesotan, Margaret and her husband live in Minneapolis and have two college aged children.
